The music ranges from almost experimental to almost folkish, but with a singular sound. Originally a quarter with Dave Abramson and Evan Flory-Barnes, the updated version is a sextet with the double percussion and violin added to the mix.Wayne Horvitz is a composer, pianist and electronic musicians. He is the 2016 recipient of the Doris Duke Performing Artist Award, the NEA American Masterpieces Award and three MAP Fund awards.
